    Built in 1931, the Lakeville High School was purchased in 1989 by Robert and Joyce Newton, owners of Hoosier Racing Tire, a major supplier of racing tires throughout the U.S. and overseas. Fulfilling a dream, Bob and Joyce led a crew in the renovation of this beautiful complex into a multi-use community center for the benefit of all to use and enjoy.
    The Newton Center facility is listed on the National Register of Historic Places by the U.S. Department of Interiors.
